Human first, athlete second. Your nutrition needs to fuel your foundations as much as it needs to fuel your performance.

Nutrition is nuanced and no athlete is the same. You deserve more than a cookie-cutter meal plan and I'm here to help guide you every step of the way.

Bridging the gap between traditional health care and a more integrative, functional approach.

I have been fortunate to serve thousands of tactical athletes on the topic of endurance fueling. From repeated 12-mile rucks and multi-day movements through austere environments to those who want to complete an Ironman or Ultramarathon "just for fun", I've coached them all.
Combining my professional knowledge working on a multidisciplinary team with my own passion for outdoor sports and adventures lead to the creation of Fueling Upward LLC. These experiences have allowed me to blend the world of performance nutrition with performance rehabilitation in order to better serve you!

I'm someone who loves a challenge. I've always pushed myself to be better not only professionally, but physically. After hanging up my college soccer cleats I picked up road running, then hiking, and now aim to lift heavy things and summit mountains. I've suffered my fair share of unexpected injuries but a concussion in my late 20s shifted my whole perspective on athletic performance and performance nutrition. This pivotal moment led me to explore the realms of integrative and functional nutrition, sparking a mission to bridge the gap between athletes, healthcare providers, and the advanced world of performance nutrition. Because being an athlete doesn't end with an injury—it opens the door to conquering new challenges with resilienc and determination.
Whether you're hitting the road or tackling the trails, I am equipped with the professional knowledge and real-life insights to help you navigate the nuances that hybrid and mountain athletes face on a regular basis AND make an epic comeback from any injuries you may encounter.
